Rights & Responsibilities

All employees and volunteers of The Life Enrichment Center have the duty and responsibility to safeguard the rights of every person served. Any person served, their family members, caregivers or staff may file a complaint if they feel that their rights have been violated. The following presentation provides a summary of the rights of each person served.

Complaints & Grievances Process
​-All employees and volunteers of The Life Enrichment Center have the duty and responsibility to safeguard the rights of every person served. It is therefore the policy of the organization to receive and consider all complaints and grievances submitted by individuals regarding the delivery of services and, if deemed appropriate, to seek resolution. The Life Enrichment Center adopts and applies the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) Policy on Complaints and Grievances Regarding Community Services, 19-101, last revised June, 2011. Any person served, their family members, caregivers or staff may file a complaint if they feel that their rights have been violated. The following presentation provides a summary of the rights of persons served and the process for filing a complaint or grievance. Read the full listing of your Rights and Responsibilities here.

Code of Ethical Conduct
-At The Life Enrichment Center, we understand that when we carry out our duties and responsibilities in a diligent and cooperative manner we contribute to the efficient functioning of the Center and to the confidence and security of each individual that we serve. It is therefore the policy of the Center to encourage all staff and volunteers to conduct all activities in an ethical manner at all times. Our Code of Ethical Conduct describes how our core values guide the conduct of our staff and volunteers.
