Creative Enrichment Center

Creative Enrichment Center Field of Fun from Come Alive Video + Photo on Vimeo.

The needs of persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities must include social enrichment, self-expression, opportunities to be fully engaged in the community, and creative avenues to reach full potential. The Creative Enrichment Center community collaboration project provides services that meet these needs during participants' traditional leisure hours of evenings and weekends. Participants encompass a broader sector of persons in the community, students from colleges and universities, community members, professionals, and care-givers. This cutting edge program provides opportunities for participants to experience music, art, horticulture, and health and wellness activities in non-threatening community environments, made possible by a grant from AWS Foundation, and through partnerships with Georgia College & State University and a variety of community organizations.

To register for the Creative Enrichment Center program, please call (478) 445-5726.
